Buying a used car?
So you're thinking of buying a used car, and you found what appears to be a gem. The price fits your budget, the car looks in great shape, and the owner/dealer says the car is in good condition and no major issues with the vehicle as long as he has owned it. And the car could very well be just as the owner/dealer claims it to be; we've seen it. But before you make the investment into buying a used car, did you know you can have a Pre-Purchase Inspection performed on the vehicle? Why would you want this? The outside of the car may look incredible, but what about the engine, and the structure of the car? If you are not mechanically inclined, I personally would suggest having an inspection.
With a Pre-Purchase Inspection, our technicians perform a thorough inspection of the car such as: checking for structural damage or accident repairs. The car will also be hooked up to our computer to scan the cars computer to check for any pending codes, or to see if the computer has been cleared of any recent codes. Technicians will check for suspension wear and or damage, coolant leaks, oil leaks, head gasket leaks, and the list goes on.
The inspection will take anywhere from one hour to an hour and half. Our service advisor will then go over any issues with the car, if any, or will tell you the car is in awesome condition. Either way, you will now be able to make a decision knowing you have all the facts on the car.
Micro Import Service performs inspections on makes such as: Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, Kia, Infiniti and many more!
