Make your car last 200,000 miles…
How to go the distance and save tens of thousands of dollars!
I read an awesome article in ConsumerReports yesterday on how to keep your car running for many, many miles. This is a must read! They talk about the difference between regular maintenance schedule and the severe-use schedule. You may be surprised at what schedule you should be following! Also discussed are great all-around cars, and those to avoid. A few great ones mentioned – the Honda Fit, Scion, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Altima, Acura TL, Lexas ES, Honda Pilot, and the list goes on. ConsumerReports also gives you a breakdown on costs between a Honda CR-V EX & Toyota Camry LE on keeping the car for 15 years and what the savings would be verses buying a new one every 5 years.
