Micro Import Service is a local, family owned, independent automotive service facility started by Mic Williams in 1976. We have been in the current location since 1979. When you choose Micro for your automotive service needs you can rest assured that you are getting the finest vehicle care available. Our service center has the latest tools and equipment available to service your car or truck.

Micro Import Service employs technicians certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, the ASE. Additionally our technicians have trained with various automotive manufacturers, ensuring you a high level of competency for your vehicle repairs.

We have a shuttle service available for your convenience to get you to the office or back home while we take care of your vehicle. Please let us know that you need a ride when you make your appointment and we will be ready.

Way back in the early years of western civilization Micro Performance was founded. Our ideals then as is today - were to listen to our customers and take care of their needs honestly and thoroughly.

Today we are still true to our original standards. Listening to our customer's needs preceded our expansion of our service from only foreign imports to servicing all vehicles, keeping your entire family's vehicles well maintained.

Howard Gerstel

Born and raised in Tucson, Howard is a now resident of Sahuarita and commutes to Micro Import Service on a daily basis. A drag racer, he currently runs a super gas Pinto body with a Chevy engine at Southwestern International Raceway, and is building a Nissan Z dragster for his wife Donna. The Gerstels are proud parents of two grown sons, Joe and Chris. Howard has been with our company since 2002.

Nathan McDonald

Service/Shop Manager

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, Nathan has called Tucson home since 1999. He has occupied many roles at Micro Import Service, from shop assistant, to shuttle driver to parts manager to service writer/shop manager. Nathan is an active rock climber and teaches kickboxing once a week at a local gym.

Jeremy Bonnema

ASE Certified Technician

Jeremy is on his second tour with Micro Import Service. He is a Tucson native who began his relationship with our company as shop assistant several years ago. He left us to cut his teeth as a fledgling technician, ultimately gaining the experience and training needed to be an apprentice. As a father of two children, Jeremy plans to continue his education and ultimately aspires to become a certified Master technician.

Eric Dockins

Shuttle Driver

Still is his teens, Eric is an accomplished Junior Dragster racer at Southwest International Raceway with aspirations of a career in the racing industry. In the meantime Eric is planning to attend classes at Pima Community College and is enjoying his time spent around cars at Micro Import Service.
